About the Workshop


Introduction to Ethical Hacking Workshop is a 3-hour interactive session that provides participants with a foundational understanding of the principles and techniques of ethical hacking. The workshop is designed for individuals who are interested in learning how to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in computer systems, networks, and applications and how to exploit them for the purpose of improving security.


This workshop covers the basics of ethical hacking, including the differences between ethical and illegal hacking, and the tools and techniques used by ethical hackers. Participants will learn about the importance of ethical hacking in the context of cybersecurity and how ethical hacking can be used to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.


Throughout the workshop, participants will engage in hands-on exercises to reinforce the concepts covered in the course. Participants will practice using various ethical hacking tools and techniques to identify and exploit vulnerabilities in a simulated environment.


By the end of the workshop, participants will have a basic understanding of ethical hacking principles and techniques and will be able to apply this knowledge to improve security in their own organizations.

Your Instructor

Davin Jackson is a husband, father, United States Air Force veteran, and seasoned cybersecurity professional with over ten years of experience in ethical hacking and penetration testing.


Davin is a certified ethical hacker (CEH) and has additional certifications as a Certified Penetration Tester (CPT), GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN), GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). He is also a certified LinkedIn Instructor, teaching courses in application and API security.


Throughout his career, Davin has worked with many clients, including government agencies, financial institutions, and healthcare organizations. He is known for his attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to think outside the box.


Davin is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with others, and he regularly conducts training sessions and workshops on ethical hacking and cybersecurity. He believes everyone has a role to play in maintaining cybersecurity and that education and awareness are critical components of a strong security posture.
